The 2008 Miss Black & Gold Scholarship Pageant will be held on February 22, 2008 in Montezuma Hall on the campus of San Diego State University at 6:00 pm.
The Miss Black and God Scholarship Pageant aims to portray African-American women in a strong, positive and beautiful light. The pageant is not just a beauty contest, it is also a scholarship competition, and the top three winners earn an academic scholarship toward their next semester.
The winner of the Miss Black and Gold Pageant will compete for Miss Black and Gold of the Area, Western Region, and ultimately, the Nation.
